Privacy policy

Xpect is a football analytics app: it shows the probability of match events and offers an AI analyst. It does not take bets, does not link to bookmakers and is intended for people aged 18 and over. This policy explains what data the app processes. The app is provided by the developer of Xpect (“we”).

What we collect

• An anonymous install ID. A random identifier created on your device the first time you open the app. It is not linked to your name, e-mail, phone number or advertising ID. We use it to keep your AI conversation, your question limits and your subscription status.
• Questions to the AI analyst and its answers. Stored so the analyst can follow the conversation. Deleted automatically after 30 days, or immediately when you start a new chat or delete your data.
• Notes the AI analyst remembers about your preferences (for example, which teams you follow) when you tell it. Deleted when you ask the analyst to forget them, when you delete your data, or after 180 days without use.
• Usage counters: how many questions you asked per day and technical cost figures, to apply question limits. Kept for up to 13 months.
• Subscription status. Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card or payment details; we only receive whether a subscription is active.

We do not collect your name, contacts, location, photos or advertising identifiers. The app has no ads, no third-party analytics and no tracking, and we do not sell or share personal data for advertising.

Who processes the data for us

• Cloudflare — hosting of our server and storage of the data listed above.
• Anthropic — generates the AI analyst's answers. The text of your question and the relevant match data are sent to Anthropic's API to produce an answer. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API data is not used to train its models.
• Apple and Google — app distribution and subscription payments, under their own privacy policies.

Sports data (fixtures, statistics, market lines) comes from sports data providers; no personal data is sent to them.

Your choices and rights

• Start a new chat in the AI analyst tab to erase the conversation history.
• Use More → Delete my data to erase your conversation and remembered notes from our server at once. Usage counters contain only numbers (no content) and are kept to apply the free-question limits.
• You can also contact us at support@xpect.app to access or delete your data, or with any privacy question.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/EEA, the UK, Brazil or Türkiye), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data; the options above cover them. We process data to provide the service you asked for and, for usage counters, on our legitimate interest in applying fair limits.

Children

Xpect is only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process data of anyone younger.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
